How to properly mount a sensor
Hi there, my name is Ryan Herd and I am the founder of Caregiver Smart Solutions. Today, I want to share a tip with you on how to properly mount a movement and temperature, and humidity sensor in a bathroom.
First of all, it’s important to note that bathrooms are typically small spaces, so in order to effectively monitor movement and temperature, and humidity, it’s necessary to have sensors in place. In this particular scenario, I recommend mounting the sensors above the entrance door.
The reason for this is that this placement allows for the sensors to pick up movement and temperature and humidity changes throughout the entire bathroom. This is especially important if you are trying to monitor the movements and activities of a loved one, such as if they are taking a shower.
In order to make the sensors as unobtrusive as possible while still being effective, I recommend mounting one sensor with the pinhole on one side and the other sensor with the pinhole on the opposite side. This way, if you ever need to re-calibrate the sensors, you will have easy access to the pinholes.
It’s also worth noting that, in order to get the most accurate readings from the sensors, it’s important to mount them in a way that allows for the pinholes to remain uncovered.
I hope this tip helps you with your sensor installation and monitoring needs. From our family to yours, Caregiver Smart Solutions is here to assist you in providing the best possible care for your loved ones.
